Jenny
Registered Psychologist
I completed my honours degree in Psychology in NSW and have since trained further in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including humanistic, client-centred therapies and cognitive-behaviour therapy.
I particularly resonate with mindfulness-based therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, however, I take a holistic and eclectic approach depending on the needs of the people I work with. I also like to integrate creative, art-based, and animal-assisted activities where it may be helpful. I support people struggling with a range of mental health difficulties, and have a special interest in behaviour change and self development – eg, smoking management, weight loss and career goals.
I value the importance of creating a safe, non-judgemental and welcoming environment that is conducive to personal growth and development.
I have lived and worked throughout NSW, and I am passionate about equality in the access to social and emotional wellbeing support no matter where someone lives or what their background is.
I have worked with people of all ages and from many walks of life and thoroughly enjoy helping people to meet their goals and improve their wellbeing.
